Client: A Fish Distribution Company in Nairobi, Kenya
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will drive product sales on commission basis, order sales across Hotels, Restaurants, Schools, hospitals, distributors, and wholesalers, individuals. This role emphasizes commercial sales, supply chain coordination, and relationship management within the Fish/Chicken, seafood segments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Drive product sales by engaging Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, distributors, and wholesalers, ensuring consistent order booking and meeting monthly targets;
▪ Coordinate closely with supply and logistics teams to gather purchase requirements and guarantee smooth order fulfillment;
▪ Ensure product availability Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, distributors, and wholesalers, and trade outlets while monitoring stock movement, shelf visibility, and expiries;
▪ Follow up on deliveries, supply schedules, and address inventory or distribution gaps promptly;
▪ Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Hospitality entities, procurement officers, stockiest, and key trade partners;
▪ Share pricing details, promotional schemes, and conduct basic commercial negotiations to support sales growth;
▪ Collect and report competitor insights, pricing trends, and customer feedback while maintaining accurate visit reports and sales data.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
▪ Diploma in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage;
▪ 1 to 5 years in Fish sales, distribution, wholesale, or FMCG trade sales;
▪ Strong familiarity and network within Nairobi’s Hospitality sector Schools and hospital circuits;
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
▪ Strong commercial negotiation and follow-up ability;
▪ Organized, proactive, and coordination-focused;
▪ Target-driven with hands-on customer engagement approach;
▪ Basic proficiency in mobile or Excel reporting (preferred).
