About Company
Our client is looking for a seasoned Data Scientist to support their Data Science team by providing critical insights on the design, and implementation of complex Machine Learning models to make predictions on creditworthiness, rent-delinquency, and other forward-looking statistical factors, to arrive at a robust, interpretable, and precise, predictive risk model(s)
Responsibilities:
Have a growing understanding of the banking, fraud, and risk in the banking sector
Implement Machine Learning models to predict individuals’ financial history to provide the best financial resources. This includes creditworthiness, rent delinquency, and so on. These models have to be robust, interpretable, and precise, giving confidence alongside predictions.
Support the development of financial products such as rent relief for rent payments by implementing statistical models to assess risk.
Required Skills:
5+ years' experience in data science
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science or similar, advanced degree preferred with an outstanding record of academic achievement.
Experience in agile development methodologies.
Ability to tell stories from data insights and be familiar with some form of visualization like Tableau, Power BI.
Knowledge of statistical programming languages like Python and database query languages like SQL.
Experience with relational databases.
The overlap required: fully overlaps with GMT +2 except Sunday where it is expected you will overlap at least 5 hrs.
Work week: Sunday-Thursday
