 ASSISTANT AUDITOR (AUDIT FIRM) - NAIROBI


Our client, is an audit firm based in Nairobi and they are looking for an assistant auditor. The ideal candidate will perform basic auditing tasks under the guidance of the auditors.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


. Sales and Purchase Invoice processing and filing.

. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.

. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.

. Filing Statutory-VAT/NSSF/NHIF/PAYE/WHT/WHVAT.

. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.

. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.

. Bank reconciliation.

. Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.

. Frequent Reporting to Management.

. Any other duties as may be allocated from time to time.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


. ACCA / CPA Qualified or Pursuing.

. Required Job Experience 1 - 2 years.

. Working knowledge of the Kenyan iTax System.

. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

. Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, Xero Accounting Software.

. Good Personal Planning and Organizational Skills.


MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 25,000
