Job Description:
Our client, a global leader in the design, supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of security systems, solar & energy, and electrical & mechanical systems, is seeking a qualified Financial Controller with a high level of integrity to join their team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, implementing controls and budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles or financial reporting standards. Additionally, this role involves functions in sales, purchasing, logistics, and payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports.
- Maintain an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or acceptable financial reporting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee sales, purchasing, logistics, and payroll functions.
- Utilize computerized accounting systems and software, such as MS Office Excel and Word.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty in all financial activities.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal means.
- Collaborate with colleagues and be an excellent team player.
- Work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPAK/ACCA certification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a financial management role.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position is Kshs150,000/- per month plus benefits.
